Heavy user interactivity with an eCourse

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

This course was developed after the Articulate Storyline 360 course was developed (see here for the Storyline page). This course is an HTML course built with Articulate RISE.  This example course shows how I can customize the course from a single framed course into an elearning course for HTML.  The disadvantage is that the course can’t natively carry variables from one page to the next.  This is a prime example of how to use the HTML version to work around that challenge.

OPPORTUNITY

Creating a flexible HTML5 course has many advantages.  This example works on any screen size.  Making a mobile, tablet and desktop version can be time consuming to develop and maintain.  Using this platform you are able to have the xAPI reporting, SCORM compliancy, and flexibility for the administrator to manage and report from.

SOLUTION

Articulate RISE is extremely powerful, flexible and easy to deploy.  Hosting these types of courses on a website, web hosting solution or on an internal LMS provides the power to integrate the knowledge sharing through user interactions and can include video/audio narrations where applicable.
