CONTACT OVERVIEW

I use Fiverr for all inquiries and orders.  This means you’re in control!

I pay a 20% fee for all orders processed through Fiverr.

So, why not accept offline, direct payment, or purchase orders?

Fiverr had a negative connotation of being filled with only cheap services.  Those that can be created quickly or as a way to get services cheaper than what you can get from US providers.

When I started my journey as an independent freelancer, I signed up with Fiverr with little expectations.
I was surprised at the level of services they provide to freelancers and the support they offer to both the freelancer and the buyer.

While other services may be more popular, I believe in what Fiverr does and how it works.

The short answer is yes.  All you need to do is click the link below, then click Sign in or Join.

It’s free to join and takes all of 10 seconds if you have a Facebook, Google or Apple account.

And if you don’t have a Fiverr account, you can get 10% off your first order by clicking the button below (which is a Fiverr referral link so you get $10 credit towards any first order).

The short answer: Absolutely.

I Zoom all the time with new clients and potential clients.  Using Zoom on Fiverr is really pretty neat.  Every meeting is recorded and transcribed and available to us moments after the meeting.  This transparency allows us to discuss your project and any details we talk about are available for us to review after the call.
I’ve had to recall parts of complex discussions before.  Times when multiple people are talking about a vision that I needed to recall.  This allows us to work smarter, with tools that are efficient and responsive.

Here’s a step-by-step guide that shows you how to switch your account to a Free Business Account:
(There are a lot of additional great features that are available to Fiverr Business Accounts too!)

You can pick a time on my calendar and I’ll make sure I’m available on Fiverr Chat at that time.

Great question.  I’ve been staring at the Fiverr Terms of Service for too long so I decided to reach out to them directly for an answer and found out that I can’t offer my direct email or phone number on my own site as that would be a way to circumvent their Terms of Service

My goal is to offer links from Fiverr conversations to my portfolio of work to show examples of my services.  I feel that it is important for me to communicate effectively with potential clients and existing clients.

The idea of sending YouTube URLs to videos I’ve created was novel at the beginning though now I’ve realized that it’s just full of advertisements and shiny objects that end up confusing the conversation.

The best way for me to offer my clients a direct link to a specific (or group) of portfolio items is by linking to this site in the Fiverr chat, thus I need to follow their rules and for sending external links.

To look at the positive side: We can use Zoom for audio calls, share screens or video calls and you can tell from my profile on Fiverr that I’m real with real client feedback always evolving.

Most eLearning projects become riddled with ad hoc meetings, revisions and challenges that have to be overcome.  While it is nice to imagine we can build an entire course for $500, that’s unrealistic.

Most courses are different though.  A course built in RISE, published to web or as a SCORM compliant file from a Canva slides deck takes far less time to create than a complex Storyline file with triggers, variables, interactions, and assessments.

It all comes down to creating the proper expectations and getting the right people in place to execute the job efficiently.

I can create a custom quote in Fiverr that has milestones with details about the expectations and approval process to achieve these milestones.

So, a $10,000 job might be broken into 4 milestones of $2,500 with estimated deliverable dates.  On, or before, those estimated dates, I will deliver portion of the milestone.

You have 3 days to review my work and request a revision.  After some back and forth with revisions, once you are satisfied, you approve the milestone and I get paid in a week.

After all of the milestones are completed, you can close the job by accepting the revisions and the project is yours.  At that point, you can leave feedback on the project.
